Role as a Vistage Chair

For six years Ken also held the highly respected position of Chair for Vistage International, the world’s largest member organization for CEOs. Ken is a highly trained and sought after mentor and trainer for CEOs of SMB companies. His innovative and creative uses of technology, his pioneering of behavioral and talent assessments to properly target individuals for their highest energy positions, and the aggressive and forward looking leadership and coaching are symbolic of his style.

Ken is also the founder, Chairman and CEO of the Edmundson Northstar Business Research and Training Institute. The firm is a recognized specialist in the development of business strategy, leadership, sales and sales management training, and customized employee assessments for companies across a multitude of industries.

CEO of LEDIC Management

From 1989 through 1998, Ken served as co-creator, Partner, Chairman and CEO of LEDIC Management Group, Inc. He led LEDIC to become one of the ten largest and most successful multi-family property fee-management companies in the U.S. and then led a very successful sale of the company to a Wall Street investment firm.

President and COO of Dunavant Development

Prior to his position at LEDIC, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Dunavant Development Corporation and a shareholder in the parent company, Dunavant Enterprises, Inc., the 82nd largest privately held company on Forbes’ List of Top 100 Private Companies. Ken also served for six years as President and Chief Operating Officer of Memphis Aero Corporation, a successful chain of general aviation fixed base operations and the world’s largest distributor of Piper aircraft parts. He was instrumental in leading the negotiation and successful sale of the company to AMR Corporation, the parent company of American Airlines.

Ken began his career in 1975 with Martin Industries, Inc., of Alabama, a large privately held manufacturing firm with sales throughout the U.S. and Canada. At the age of 25, he assumed the responsibility as National Sales Manager and Product Director of a division with a 104-man sales force.
